OK De,
I think I downloaded some documentation on Linux
Cinnamon Mint - version 18. And I just e-mailed to
you (Hopefully) the pdf file I downloaded.

The desktop is running Linux Mint 19.2
It also says 'Cinnamon 64 bit'.

I believe there was an earlier version of it that
I was putting on machines . . . And then upgraded
to this version.

Looks like there is a version 20.1 out now.

I have had excellent luck running 'Cinnamon'.
Also, when one opens the 'main menu' under cinnamon
along the left hand edge, one of the icons is a
'software manager' which, if the machine is on the
internet, can and will go to a site and allow one to
download and install all manner of free software.
Including Open Office.

I was installing it on Dell and HP laptops without
problem. And it is on an HP desktop running
without any problems.

When I allow it to get on the internet I use a Wifi USB
adapter. And I found (the hard way) that the adapter
has to be Linux compatible. Else it doesn't work.
