That's very much the sorts of problems you get with unions.

In the 1980s, that's exactly the sort of way British unions thought. They forget their purpose and just become a organism seeking power.

Police unions are VERY resistant to label their members, or red flag them.

Their unions are a huge part of the problem in systemic issues. They are enablers, instead of weeding out the bad apples, they hold on to them & make excuses.
