Re: “You have just convinced me that New Hampshire is not
a place I want to move to. I don't like biting bugs.”
I believe you had already decided that New Hampshire is not the place for you. If it wasn't the bugs, it was the cold. Am I right?

Living in rural New Hampshire isn't easy. But I don't want EASY. If I did, I'd go buy a condo in Florida and walk the beach every day. I'd also be surrounded by millions of lazy people who expect government to take care of them because they don't like to do things that are hard. I detest such people.

I expect that any rural life is going to be difficult. You don't like pesky insects and cold weather but you'd like to move to Oklahoma? Brace yourself for rattlesnakes, black widows, brown recluses, termites, giant cockroaches, fleas, scorpions and tornadoes! We don't have ANY of those!

No place is perfect. If it seems like it is, it's bound to be infested with liberals and illegals.
