Well, he resigned.

It wasn't the affair that got him. It was the hypocrisy of demanding the public shouldn't meet up, and then meeting up himself.

If you're going to go, may as well be in flagrante.

This will do his reputation some good.

Before, a bit unfairly, he was called Hopeless Hancock. Now he is more of a chancer.

I don't really care about the infidelity. That stuff happens. I care that he has overseen a great vaccination programme.
