Just to add to the misery of the EU after Britain's success in developing and distributing vaccines.

The wait of 55 years to win against the Germans in a proper tournament is finally over.

And without a penalty shoot-out or a controversy over whether the ball went over the line, for once.

Okay, it was only four losses over the 55 years, but Germany was England's bogey team.
