Weisselberg son also got a condo, his ex-wife has given the feds reams of paper to review.

She realized how wrong the numbers were when she was doing a financial for her divorce lawyer. She said they claimed to live on an amount of money that wouldn't be possible for their lifestyle. She's correct.

Keep in mind Trump has had 4 bankruptcies. That's not a golden goose.
Trump made sure that others would lose too, so the banks bailed him out, time & time again.

I think this is the opening shot, I hope they have info that nails Trump.
Weisselberg will be back to court in September.

Do something positive.

I take your point about working for Trump. It's a good one.

I thought the same thought and decided that there may be a core in the Trump organisation that isn't incoherent and dishonest (ie unlike Trump himself). That the company survives suggests there is some good sense in there somewhere, perhaps an inheritance from Trump's father. It may be that Weisselberg is the goose that lays Trump's golden eggs. That Trump is a sort of figurehead for a company run by Weisselberg. And thus that the Trump Organisation isn't itself a criminal enterprise.

I think an arrogant person would crumble under such pressure from NY's AG.

A sociopath wouldn't. And nor would an honest man.

ps there's a second expense that does sound like an illegal fringe benefit to me. A car that was used by his wife. But all the stuff about the condo which is where the big money is rings hollow. He'll claim it was set aside for his use because of his workload and long hours. So it's like a fancy hotel room, but cheaper. The court will witness arguments about the classification of different expenses. Boring as hell.
