So, the heat wave is not caused bythe SUN or the positioning of it but is strictly all in this dipsticks mind a product of what, human beings ????

Of course it is. Never a let a good crisis go to waste...

Temperatures climb and wane every century and have for a very long time.. Do the people who live in those parts of the world where it ocurs enjoy it?

Of course not... KAthy posted the temperatures in Vegas or Phoenix or both last week as well. They are typical for that region and as toasty as they were ion the northwest.

I get that it is well above normal fort here but hey, it happens.. And who is now going to be the "SAVE THE MUSSELS" president of that orgainization just begging to be born? Nemo, this could be theopportunity to be a polical panderer and get rich quick idea. SAVE THE MUSSELS !!!! Donations will come flooding in....

DID anyone go count the number of supposed sea creatures that died from the heat wave? Hmmm.. Why do I suspect that the numbers are grossly exaggerated?

Nemo for President of SAVE THE MUSSEL society for the betterment of planet earth. After all, people do eat mussels as do other creatures so we can;t run out of them so it could be a great gig!!! Get yer signs ready Captain and lets organize a first march for saving the mussels!!
