...some guy, maybe hannity, was interviewing obama and the question was "what is the maximum percentage of anyone's income should be collected in taxes." Obama hemmed and hawed and when finally pressed to the wall his answer was "A little more". No matter whether it's printing or taxing the answer is "a little more".

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

Re: “the RNC is NOT a conservative party.”
Naturally. The root cause of this is our money. It is designed facilitate unlimited growth in government. If government can print unlimited money, that is absolutely what it will do - maybe not this year, maybe not next, but eventually.

The Republican Party is no more inclined to back our currency and prevent money printing than the Democrat party is. Doing so would cause government to shrink massively with a comparable decrease in power to politicians. That is antithetical to what politicians are all about. They want MORE power, not less. What politician is going to vote to lessen his own importance?

The Democrat and the Republican parties are alike this respect. They are two sides of the same coin, neither existing without the other. Neither is antigovernment. Neither is conservative.
