Some Democrats must have seen polls showing that the percentage of Americans who opposed voter ID isn’t nearly as high as they’d like it to be. That has led to claims like this from Democrat Rep. Jim Clyburn:

Well, I've seen reports that state the quote was a double negative ~ "No Democrat has never been against voter ID." So, I suppose Clyburn was actually saying that Democrats have always been against voter ID, which is essentially correct since voter ID interferes with their propensity to use voter fraud to fix elections in their favor ... BUT, we all know that Clyburn was trying to lie his ass off and say that Democrats are actually in favor of voter ID ... which is an obvious WHOPPER of a knee-slapping LIE!
Townhall’s Guy Benson did indeed fact check Clyburn’s claim, using one of Clyburn’s own tweets:

They did it last week with "defund the police," now they're doing it with Voter ID.
