Point A is where I was thinking for the taps.
Equidistant from whether one wants to lay and look out
the window, or put ones back to the window. (But if
one wants to lay parallel to the window with the window
to ones right it might be a problem . . .)

But, as I think I said, one needs to access the taps
once when filling the tub, and again to stop filling
the tub. A half minutes inconvenience to turn the water
on and off should not be a problem.

And, Point B might be a good place for the taps and
the faucet - little to no chance of tripping over
them getting in and out.

Re: “If 'too short' is a problem . . . I would think that that would be a problem anywhere you put them.”
This is probably just a miscommunication. When I said she's short, I meant that knobs on the Left Side at point "A" could make her life difficult. Further back than that would make my life difficult too. it's a big tub.

But point "A" is what I thought you meant when you were talking about putting the knobs on the Left Side.

The Front Left, point "B," wouldn't be a problem for anyone. There's just a question of whether we'd want the knobs to be separated from the water tap since we don't want the tap to be at point "B." Putting the tap on the Left Side (not at the Front Left) might not even be an option. The plumber never suggested it, and he may have already put the water pipes through the floor, dictating approximately where the tap will go.

I'll bring it up with both my wife and my plumber. I should see him on Monday.

Making decisions affecting a house is quite a challenge. Everyone should experience it at least once.
