I remeber my first PC. It was a Packard bell. $1800,,,, 75mhz processor LOL, and a 750meg hard drive. Everytime I wanted to download something. I had to go and delete something off the hard drive first lol. i COULD HAVE A SMOKE BEFORE A PAGE WOULD LOAD, WITH 17MHZ DIALUP CONNECTION. aMAZING WHERE THIS ALL HAS GONE....

I just added the new memory to the Windows 7 box, taking it from 3 GB to 8 GB. ​Its speed ain't bad now!

I don't know how ​eMachines got away with selling it with just 3 gigs. The poor sucker[s] who bought it that way and suffered for all those years! I was reading that 4GB is the MINIMUM any Windows 7 box should ever have - even though, technically, it will function with less. Less than 4 makes for a miserable computing experience.
