...we got one now. Helps get the smell of ribit's home cooked meteors (hamburgers) out of the house too. I was astounded to find out that a lot of people don't like their hamburgers to be CRUNCHY. LIve and learn eh?
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
Our first house (built in 1955) had something like this ... what we referred to as an attic fan ... and it was fantastic. It was in the ceiling of the main hallway covered by louvers that would open up when the fan was turned on. We would open up all the windows and it would suck fresh air in and then up through the attic. Quite honestly, I wish I had one in my current house.
