Re: “(THIS EXCLUDES FOOD AND ENERGY, GOODGOD!!)”
My wife says that on the drive from Sacramento to San Diego, gas prices ranged from $4.50 to $4.99/gallon.

On the other hand, when I was in 'the big city' (pop. 20,000) yesterday, I saw it for $2.89/gallon.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Producer prices soar 7.8% annually in July, most on record

---------

FOOD AND ENERGY

Core producer prices, which exclude food and energy, rose 1% in July, double the 0.5% gain that was expected. Core prices climbed 6.2% annually, compared to the 5.6% increase that was forecast. The year-over-year increase was the largest since the data series began in August 2014. (THIS EXCLUDES FOOD AND ENERGY, GOODGOD!!)
