Just so you know, headlines are usually not written by the author. They're usually written by the editor or even the typesetter. They are often misleading.

In 2019, the New York Times posted a story with the headline ‘Trump urges unity vs racism’. Liberals pitched a fit over the paper's positive portrayal of the President. Without changing a word of the article, the Times's published a second edition with the headline “ASSAILING HATE BUT NOT GUNS”.

That sends a totally different message than what the first editor thought appropriate, doesn't it? The simple fact is, most people don't read articles. They go no further than the headlines. Headlines can be and usually are incomplete or inaccurate.
