simple. Unattach the countertop before you move the vanity.
It likely is mounted with screws underside.. You can remove it and re-install it.

Incidentally, that's a really nice top being Marble and the PLywood for the vanity itself will withstand humidity and rotting froma bathroom. Glad its veneered as well.

Ya done good laddie. Thumbs Up

Yesterday we drove to Nashua where we spent a few hours total at Lowes, Home Depot and Floor & Decor. We had to make a decision about a vanity for the Master bathroom.

Mind you, we'd already bought a 36" vanity/top/sink for the basement bathroom... $299 at Home Depot. We'd also ordered (since it wasn't in stock) a 48" vanity/top/sink for the guest bathroom and it was $499 at Home Depot. We wanted a better quality vanity for the Master bathroom. It would have two sinks and be 60". Larger vanities (with a countertop and two sinks) cost a lot more. The price jumped to $1,400 or so at Home Depot and Lowes and the models they carried were still mostly particle board. They were also ugly or, at best, very plain. Floor & Decor had something we liked and it was plywood with veneer, but the vanity alone was $1,386 and the countertop w/ sinks was $1,177. $2,563 total. That gave us pause.

We came home figuring that we would research more of the online Home Depot and Lowes vanities. We did that today and weren't impressed. So we went to Floor & Decor's website thinking that we'd buy the expensive thing that we at least liked and . . . it was gone. Apparently they sold out. Build.com still had the same thing, but it was about $450 more. Aargh.

My wife then decided to check a site she used years ago to buy my son's bed: Wayfair.com. That was a good move. The vanity shown below was available for $1,399. It's solid poplar wood and veneered plywood and includes the countertop and two sinks. The wood is a bit darker than we were going to get from Floor & Decor, and the countertop is grey marble instead of the streaked white "Arctic Fall" polycarbonate we'd have preferred. BUT... in buying from Wayfair, we're saving $1,163 over Floor & Decor (which didn't have the product anymore anyway so it's moot) and about $1,600 over Build.com.

Shopping was a PITA, but by the time we bought, the decision was a no-brainer.

The next issue is that the vanity weighs almost 400 pounds. I *hope* the vanity and the top come in two boxes when it arrives in 3-4 weeks, but at least one of the customer comments was that the countertop was already attached. If that's the case, I don't know how we're going to move the sucker... Maybe the delivery guy can unload it directly onto our flatbed trailer...
