If we wanted to say after 8/31, Joe would've needed to send in thousands more troops, just to hold them back.
Afghanistan consists of tribes, they don't stand by or for one government rule.
Reports are after Trump made a deal with the Taliban, without the Afghans included, where they released 5,000 prisoners, and those prisoners went right back to fighting the Afghans, the Afghans felt defeated.
Joe ran on ending this war.
He should have started sending the Afghans that helped us out of country sooner, that's on him!
That said, you watch the bitching that the republicans will have wrt us taking in those Afghans.
Remember, Trump wanted to ban all Muslims...
