...you have always lent yourself to posts where A precedes B that A must cause B. My thinking was that there were a lot of folks there and some of em had to have the bug. Same as with Obonzo's Birthday Bash. I have had the shot and wear a mask when I am uncomfortable not wearing one and I wouldn't have attended either bash as most of the folks I know who have the bug have ACTIVE night life including hotel and motel stays where comforters, pillows and mattresses are never washed.

I never said, or even implied, that Abbott contracted COVID while HE was attending a gathering of hundreds of unmasked Republican donors. Rather, I'm more concerned that since his office disclosed THIS only this morning that the Governor had tested positive and that HE was seen glad-handing dozens of other unmasked individuals the night before, how many people has HE infected since HE became contagious, whenever that was.
