Yeah, I'm getting a chuckle out of a new Ford electric pickup commercial on TV. It shows a house lit up at night and then all the power goes out when a thunderstorm hits. The owner drives his Ford electric pickup up close to the house, runs a plug from the pickup to the house, and voilĂ - the whole house is back up an running! BS. Most heavy duty generators won't run a whole house ... the lights and some appliances ... but, certainly not everything. With that kind of power draw ... if they let the commercial run for a few minutes more ... the house would be dark, again.
