1. You would not need to dig away anything to reach the superstructure as it is required to be inspected. So there are plenty of access points to it from the ground up.

2. A thousand tons of Jet fuel? that would be over 2 million pounds of jet fuel. The plane would not have flown. Too much weight.

3. Yes, jet fuel does burn. What level of the tower did the fire from the jet fuel ignite? What floor was it? Reason its important is because it would only have affected that area of the superstructure. And I am pretty sure it was pretty high.. The fire would only partially soften the structure IF it even got to the structure. Steel does not burn. It would take more than 2000 degrees farenheit continuous to cause the steel to soften..

The way the building collapsed and came down appears to be from multiple points on different levels throughout the building.. In other words, like the supports underneath had been removed on multiple floors for it to collapse that way it did.

That said, I am not a civil or structural engineer but have had studies in general in these areas. So, I I cannot professionally say what exactly caused it, but when PHD's in these disciplines take a year or two to examine fine details and compare what they saw in slow motion with tests as well as known other cases of structiure failures, I would say they are emminently qualified.

The architectural and structural design and engineering of the superstructure framework of a tower like this is such that beause you may have issues on a level above does not mean the entire structure will collapse like a bridge falling under its own weight..

This is why I have doubts as to the explanations given about the cause of the collapse of the building..

Its just total BS that a jet flying into the building caused that entire structure to free fall and collapse straight down on top of itself like it did in the rapid order that it did.

That said, its only my view and opinion.... Everyone is entitled to form their own on whatever basis they want to.. I am a Mechanical Engineer by education and experience, not a structural civil engineer or architect.

I KNOW steels and alloys and properties. Some things that happened I simply have difficulty believing that was the cause or reason.

Its just how I see it. Am happy to see the advanced experts have taken a hard long look at this because to a lot of us, it has not made sense..

So we shall see.. Hopefully.

Micro > Common fire is not going to collapse a superstructure like the Trade center Towers..

So, tell me Boss. What would you call the fire from a thousand tons or so of jet fuel burning inside the Trade Center Towers?

And while I suppose it is possible to plant explosives and bring down the Towers . . . I'm having a hard time believing NOBODY would have noticed guys digging away the insulations and other materials necessary to reach the structural supports and plant explosives on them.

Given all the witnesses and videos of airplanes flying into the Towers . . . .

Lastly, what was the motivation?
