...let us examine the lowly cigarette. My dad smoked unfiltered luckie strikes until they convinced him that filters was the way to go. He went over to Taryton. If there is anything that stunk worse than Luckies it had to be the Taryton. He died from emphysema and eventually cancer. Is cancer a scam? Is it a hoax? Nope it exists. For ages the tobacco companies swore that cigs had nothing to do with it. "There is no conclusive link between cigarettes and emphysema or cancer blah blah blah.
...did the filters prevent death? No they did not. Did they prolong lives? Probably. Did they work 100% of the time? Nope, but they didn't fail 100% of the times either.
Masks and Body Armor
...does body armor for cops and soldiers prevent death or serious injury? Sometimes. Since it doesn't prevent them by a margin of 100% should we stop getting it for the cops
Vaccines? Do they work? Sometimes. Do they fail? Sometimes. Do they cause problems? Sometimes. Does anybody have all the answere? Hell no! Not Farci, not Paul, not biden, and not Psaki. Are people going to be able to agree on a solution? NO!
...my problem with all this is that there are some folks who think they know all the answers and who believe that anyone who disagrees with them, or who considers alternatives is doomed to death and destruction and probably to the eternal fires of hell for same.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
