...we can't execute them (legally) and they have been in prison for about 20 years now. What we are fixing to see here is a quick trial and a conviction followed by them being sentenced to TIME SERVED and returned to afghanistan. At that time SOME of our people being held (is it too early to call them hostages) will be released. Further progress will be stalled until the talliban decides what they want next. Joe will be proclaimed a genius.
