He is admitted.
They have told him it is cancer. Whether they did a biopsy to verify I do not know yet. IF, and I hope not, that it is cancer which has closed off his esophagus, which connects to the stomach, I am praying that thisis localized and both treatable and curable. Even at that, it will be a difficult time physically and emotionally.

You are correct in your analysis and likely course of procedure dependant of course on the final diagnosis and treatment determination..

I have lost family to cancer and friends. So I am always leery when this dsease rears its ugly head in anyone I know.

We need to keep his name before the throne of grace and its not that we are informing God of something he does not already know, but rather the Bible says, the effectual fervent (often with true desire) prayer of a righteous person avails Much.....

So be sure our hearts are pure and cleaned from sin and then pray hard and often lifting his name up to God...

It is a wonderful thing to know that you have people who are actually bringing your name to the Throne of CHrist for healing. Interceding on someone's behalf, much like the Good Samaritan...

Re: “Nemo's private texts to me”
The following is nothing but speculation on my part, but:

Nemo was probably admitted to the hospital - he'd have otherwise posted again. A biopsy for cancer will be done. It's a quick procedure. If it comes back positive, he'll either be put on chemo to shrink a tumor or will have surgery to remove the tumor and reconstruct the esophagus. He can't eat or drink, so surgery won't surprise me. Even if they don't treat the cancer just yet, I think he'll still need an external feeding tube placed in the stomach.

If his problem is something different, then all bets are off. I wouldn't rule that out. His post sounded less than certain. They MAY have only told him that they suspect cancer.
