micro, my friend ... the problem is you are looking for a peaceful solution when realistically there is no such thing to be had. Today's Democrats are intolerant, dictatorial statists who self-righteously believe it is their destiny to rule over the lives of others. They are the progeny of Communists, Fascists, Marxists, Socialists, and any other type of statist tyrants you care to name. Even though they are too willfully ignorant and personally delusional to even realize it, they are the sworn enemies of freedom. They are like mooslim terrorists ... you cannot reason with such people who sanctimoniously believe themselves to be ordained to dictate how life will be and destroy anyone who might stand in their way, whether physically or intellectually. There is no way for freedom-loving Americans to separate themselves from such "omnipotent moral busybodies," as C.S. Lewis refers to them, without it getting very, VERY ugly, bloody, and messy.
