It was also reported that earlier this year she disclosed that her campaign had reimbursed her $22,000 for 'mileage' expenses run-up during her campaign. The campaign records indicate that the payment covered the miles she drove over a four month period during her 2020 campaign for Congress. If this was accurate, she would have had to drive over 38,000 miles to accumulate mileage charges that would equal $22,000, which seems to be a bit high since during that four month period, she only held ONE campaign rally. Also, shortly after she said the campaign had reimbursed her the money for the 'mileage' charges, she paid-off a $19,000 lean on her business that had been imposed by the state of Colorado to cover unpaid unemployment insurance that was owed to the state.
