Yup. It's too hard. Way too hard.

I see thousands of links every single day. I bet that you do too. I only click on a tiny percentage of them: the ones that are immediately compelling and, in my judgement, probably not click bait.

This even applies to the one hundred and fifty 'Top 5' links I post each day. I glance at the headlines but only read a few of the articles they point to.

But when an article is already on full display - in an AB post, for instance - I usually scan it to see if it's worth my time. If it is, I read it. After that, if I have anything to add, I reply.

So, the essay you posted earlier... was excellent and well worth the read. It covered many of the issues that had already been weighing on me and, unfortunately, reinforced my long-held view that the nation I loved is already lost.
