Sleeping at a rest stop in a car that's so full the seats can't fully recline ain't fun. I used to do that when I was a kid. It's harder now. 

...in a related story I have done things in a seat that wouldn't recline fully myself and I also can't do them anymore. Life's a beach!

It's been uneventful so far which is how we like it. We drove more than expected yesterday, so we got to Amarillo early and will go out for dinner in a bit. Then we crash. Sleeping at a rest stop in a car that's so full the seats can't fully recline ain't fun. I used to do that when I was a kid. It's harder now.

The best gas prices we've found were in Oklahoma ($2.63), Tennessee ($2.67) and Texas ($2.69).

I'm going to pretend that our room doesn't smell like antiseptic and sleep well tonight.
