Think about the electric grid and the massive amount of electric that would be PULLED from thousands and thousands of cars being re-charged. Can the grid do that? NOPE.

Plus, the amount of so called pollution that goes into the atmosphere when one rechargeable car batetry os prouduced equals 75,000 miles of driving in a newer gasoline car..

That ought to work out well for the idiots pushing this garbage.. The western states cannot produce enough electric becuase it is mostly from natural means like HYDRO power, or WIND or solar. Why is it they don;t have enough to take care of their needs?

Well, the sun is not always shining, the wind isn't always blowing and even when it does, those wind turbines are not producing the kind of wattage or amperage that is needed, and thirdly, the sun ain't always shining either.. What is wrong with nuclear powered or coal powered electric plants?

The enviro nut jobs could not think their way out of a tiny match stick box..

most Americans don’t think electric vehicles are practical

How long would De’s trip have taken if he had to recharge for four hours every 200 miles?

They might be OK around town but leave a lot to be desired for trips. Not everyone can afford one car just tor local driving.
