My ortho told me my right hip is pretty filled up with arthritis and casuing my hip and leg to not be flexible and allow the leg to move in the normal walking LINE /path it would follow due to the hips inability now to allow that free flexation. This is why for7 months my right lower leg and foot have been agonizing and hurt like crazy whenever I try to walk. I am stepping down on my fot at an awkward angle and that is nailing the tendons, tissues, and ligaments. ALl caused by the HIP..

Help me out here bro.. YOU have undergone a hip replacement.. Can you tell me about it and how was the recovery? I have to go get a cortisone injection into the hip soon. Its considered a surgical procedure because you have to be put under anesthesia or you could not stnd the shot. So at least I now know why my right leg feels like it does and maybe there is now hope in the future for getting the whole fixed..

The shot scares me but they have to do it to see if it will help and free up some flexability in that joint. I saw the exrays and they are UGLY. Lots of SPURS and lots of arthritis all around that socket and in it..

I used to think that pain was my lwer spine but now I know on the right side it is my HIP..

what next? Its getting interesting getting older..
But not much fun....
