They do. But what I wind up doing is sitting a wholelot more than I want to and should because I don;t want to keep the shin and ankle joint bend line highly aggravated all the time from walking..

Have not found any anti-inflammatory meds that actually help the leg.. That is worse than the hip although I am starting to notice it more now...

That is factual information Ribs gave and I have three 5 inch step height to het into my friont entry, albeit they are large (wide and deep) steps I just had re-done a few months back. 30 inches deep by 6 feet wide. 5 inch height.

I wonder if my son in law can carry me or my grandson into the house.
I really don't want to be down that long either but may have no choice.

Catheter??? R U Kidding??? WHY?

This sounds pretty ugly.

IS a Hospital bed a good idea for the house Ribs??

My wife can't really move me much as she has some issues of her own.

DE,

you make an interesting point and likely excellent one. I may have to ask my Ortho Doc that one..

I am tired of being in pain this year. The spine,he knee and the hip, and foot and leg.

I know what happens to lame horses and I pretty well fit that description..

It could be worse.. My heart goes out to Nemo and his fight beat this cancer.. If he can stand strong and tall this marine can as well. So much to consider and you guys have brought up some GREAT THINGS to think about..
THANK YOU !!!

Re: “...don't half step. Get the hip replaced.”
I agree. Additionally, you're probably harming your leg by constantly walking on it when it's not in proper alignment. If you wait, you may get to where the surgery can no longer make it right. Worse, you may take a tumble one day and have all sorts of problems. The surgery will suck. But things already suck, right?
