you make very practicable reasons that is everyday life for most people as to exactly why forcing everyone to use a battery that has to have an electric charge to power a car is a cluster**** waiting to happen.

Where exactly is all that extra electricity going to come from when we already rolling brownouts in many areas commonly especially on the LEFT Coast? Their idiotic visions of green everything including POWER via WIND and Solar is a pie in the sky BS Bull HORN if ever there was one.

One simple truth was pointed out earlier. The emissions to make ONE single battery for a car takes a current automobile gas engine 75,000 miles of driving to put out.

So, exactly where are the environmental savings?
Yep, there aren't any and these Mass Holes know it. Its all about forcing everyone into subjection and blind obedience like what Hitler accomplished.

GREEN is their god. Nothing else matters even if they are drop dead wrong.

I am wondering now if I should consider purchasing another brand new motor for my car and store it for when mine finally bites the dust. That won't be for a couple hundred thousand miles as it has only 20,000 miles on it but hey, who knows .

We need to get rid of the radical lefty nut jobs in order to get sanity back in this country.. EVERYONE that has half a brain should be able to comprehend that..

Its time to overwhelm the voting booths..... Thumbs Up

Electric Car Nonsense!

...electric companies will confirm that the time of peak usage is the time of day that people are coming home from work, heating or cooling their houses, cooking, cleaning watching tv and or playing on their computer. Add to this the same number of households coming home and plujgging in their electric cars for a recharge so they won't get stranded going to work the next day and ya got a devastating surge in electical usage.

...it's not just charging up for the next day though. There are folks out there who don't work but will have to plug in their electric cars everyday so they will be fully charged in case grandma falls down the cellar steps and breaks something and they have to meet at the hospital.

...gasoline cars have more range and thus less of a reason to keep them "full" at all times. Not only that but gas cars can be refilled on the way to a midnight emergency in only a few minutes. There are a lot of things about these electric cars that haven't been thought out fully by the folks who think they are the answer to all our problems.
