miz micro and I went to our local poll and signed in with an ID, which was swiped (drivers license} did not throw a fit for showing I.D., signed our names, received our ballots and went to the booth and voted for the candidates we liked. Went to the ballot collection machine which took it and then got me a nice sticker to put on my jacket that stated "I Voted today".
Wow. How difficult it was. Took at least two minutes to do the right thing and with I.D. There wan;t much on the ballot around here except one thing, which was Township Trustee race for two seats. Two incumbents are up and facing tough challengers who are more like myself.
The two morons who were in office never saw a green piece of ground they did not think needed to be blacktopped or an apartment sitting on it. Or whose neighborhood or street they were going to mess up all in the name of being progress, which is buzzword for progressivism..
Hopefully those two Yea holes get thrown out.. The two opponents are really conservative, normal people and the one was a great state rep who decided it was time to rescue the township and the other guy is a spec 7 Army servicemember who has been honorably discharged and has same values as me. He is really tired of the progressiveism and non stop expansion of every blade of grass.
I hope they win and then KILL OFF all the crap the two in there have underway...
