I concur completely Nemo. You should re-consider and think about what De said. You only have so many days of life on this earth remaining until you begin a whole new life in a brand new body that will never know disease or have anything wrong with it..

That NEW BODY that awaits you has a lesson for us all.

This BODY of ours that we were born into is NOT permanent and is full of problems. It is corruptible. It is also TEMPORARY. We can't just replace the batteries or put Flex Seal or Tape on it. We trade it in for a new and improved version made by the Eternal God and it will last for all eternity. Something to look forward to. It alsoimproves our looks and in my case I need all the help I can get with that.

This body of ours God gave us to use temporarily but to also enjoy it. It is a HOUSING for US, our very Spirit and soul , and we will all lay this body down one day and trade up on a new far better model..

Meanwhile, you have nothing to lose by trying to be able to eat normally again. What is worse thing that can happen?

I would give this some additional thought with Heaven in front of you and make a decision in light of that.

Ask GOD to give you some direction on this. After all, HE is still in charge.

your pal

micro..

Re: “At my stage of cancer, this sounds like it will cause more problems then it will solve.............”
Why are they considering a stent but not a J-tube? And, before you rule out a stent, how taxing a procedure is it? It sounds easily reversible... so why not give it a try? Being able to eat again, enjoying the taste of a meal and hopefully putting on weight would all be really nice, right?

You may not have the energy for this; I understand. But if you do and the doctors concur, you should give it a try. What do you have to lose?
