This is a 100 percent real story from the San Francisco Chronicle. San Francisco elected a district attorney, Chesa Boudin, who never met a criminal he wanted to incarcerate, and it’s showing. The Chronicle believes that residents and city leaders face a tough choice: should they tolerate burglaries as part of city living and just focus on barricading their houses? Should repeat offenders be put in jail so they can’t commit more crimes?

San Francisco Chronicle ~ Residents and city leaders are searching for answers: should they tolerate burglaries as a part of city living, and focus on barricading homes?

Should repeat offenders get rehabilitation services, or be incarcerated so they can’t commit more crimes?

Ian Miles Cheong @ stillgray.substack.com ~ The absolute state of San Francisco under Chesa Boudin (DA) and London Breed (Mayor).

recogniser ~ It's a toughie.

Yeah, it is ... oh ... hold it ...

... they're dead. Problem solved.

simple ~ The absolute audacity of this city's leadership does not cease to amaze.

Coastkid ~ The idea of “tolerating burglaries” is ridiculous!

365conservative ~ Elect more Democrats and send them more tax dollars. That should solve it.

Oliver Dunford ~ "Government should be super intrusive and solve all social problems. Except crime, of course."

Dr. Harrold Sak M.D. ~ “Should they tolerate burglaries as a part of city living” ... only in California.

Male Human Person ~ Yes, they should tolerate it.

We need a few cities (and possibly countries) in the developed world to take the hit as a lesson for everyone else.

Dan Wright ~ It's time to abandon the city.

Andy Patermann ~ It’s official; there are no adults left in San Francisco.

Derik Lolli ~ Probably my favorite thing about San Francisco is that I don’t live there.

Joel Denis ~ I found this so laughable I had to screenshot it for memory. I’m in shock that just tolerating home invasions is being considered by some as a legitimate policy choice.

Well, Joel ... you ARE talking about libtard central where they don't care about people taking a dump on a public sidewalk, after all.

Non-compliant Kitty ~ A few rounds of 9mm in anyone breaking into your home would quickly solve the problem. Too bad it's California, they get what they voted for.

Jim ~ Imagine living there on purpose.

Respectable Businessman ~ Punish thought criminals and political dissidents, but allow violent criminals to run amok. The far-left lives in a morally inverted alternate reality.

BTW, this is the anarchy in "anarcho-tyranny."
