Going south on 81 in Harrisburg PA, it took about twenty or so miles of pretty much stopped bumper to bumper TRUCKS, with a smattering of cars between them going north. They were taking BOTH LANES. On the other side, on both sides and later all the way into NC, I have never ever before seen such TRUCK traffic. Ever. Cars? Crazy. It never stopped.
I saw more trucks today than perhaps all the multiple of times together that I have done such routes. It was like a truck, parade.
Ignore the shit you hear from partisans. There will be no shortages of stuff, and gas prices are higher because everyone is on the MOVE! People have money, they are spending it every which way. Any shortages are going to be due to bonkers demand. Goods are moving. More trucks? How many more if what you see on the roads surpasses anything before where there were no shortages? The answer: Overwhelming demand in a red hot economy.
Democrats should not be playing defense. They should instead show drone videos of suffocating interstates from truck traffic.
Just a little WAKE UP CALL. THe revised job numbers are accurate. The economy IS BOOMING! EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THAT SUMMER COVID SURGE.
