That team that came into Ohio Stadium at the very first game of the season against a completely brand new freshman playing Ohio State QB, first college game ever, five freshmen linebackers and defensive backs and brand new offensive line, and squeeked out a one touchdown, low scoring win.
THAT is what voters have been basing their highly over rated ranking of Oregon about for all these weeks. The DUCKS have looked a tad above average at best against teams they onpaper should have really throttled. But they did not. And now they faced a good team, not great, in Utah and just got stomped on.
I would venture to saytghere are a whole lot of anti Bearcat voters and Buckeye voters who have egg on their collective faces because most of us already knew they did not have a clue.
As a reminder, the BUckeyes yesterday put up 7 touchdowns against Michigan State at halftime.. Michigan State scored ZERO and only againstthe second and third string in the end of the second half with a couple minutes remaining did they finally score against the Buckeye Defense... I would say that Michigan State was a little over rated at number 7 also.
IF the Buckeyes consistently put forth this much effort in a game here on out though, they can compete with Alabama and Georgia. Georgia would still be favored but that Buckeye offense is almost unstoppable.. Coach Day did NOT run up the score though he easily could have..
So what is it goung to take for the Bearcats to finally get the votes for thus far an undefeated season against a few really good teams and some not so good like everyone else for the playoff committee?
Is there another big school program that has their same record beside Georgia? A reminder they came within an inch of beating Georgia in the bowl game last year due to bad play calling at the end by offensive coordinator who is no longer with the team...
Well, the DUCKS ahave been shot down and are on the menu for dinner somwhere. About freaking time. Shows how weak the PAC 12 really is.
