This hit closer to home than we expected. It turns out that a friend of ours from our hometown in Michigan, that her grandniece attends that high school and the 16-year boy who was killed was her best friend's boyfriend. Now we've never met the niece, but we've known her aunt since we were kids.

One person is in custody after multiple people were wounded Tuesday in a shooting at Oxford High School in suburban Detroit, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said. No fatalities have been confirmed, but there are as many as six victims, according to the agency.
