You won't find upper division classes in any community college I know of. You'll need them if, for instance, you intend to take the CPA exam or want to study something like Cyber Architecture. That said, a childhood friend attended American River Junior College, got his 2-year degree in electronics and was snapped up by a Silicon Valley startup. They didn't pay him very well but he did get some stock.

Today, he's the wealthiest person I know. All it took was a community college education and being hired by Intel.

I had the misfortune of knowing and working with someone who was a ASU grad. He wasn;t worth a flying flip and useless but I did learn that the party scene there was unrivaled. I realize Kyle is supposedly looking at taking online classes but since this other nitwit I knew who successfully bankrupted two prior highly successful and generations old stores which doesn't speak well for his work ethics or his education, there are lots of other institutes of higher learning where he could do a lot better and for less money...

Let me just add to that slightly. There is NOTHING wrong with a local community college if it has qualified teachers who actually know their subject matter.. You will get as good if not likely better learning experience and it will likely stick in your brain's memory banks..
