An update: As of 9:00pm, Michigan time, the parents of the Oxford high school shooting suspect were still not in custody. The US Marshals have posted a $10,000 reward for information leading to each of their arrests. It's been reported that the parents withdrew the maximum allowable cash from ATM's the evening of the shooting and checked into a motel. Authorities say that they were under surveillance until Thursday night, but by Friday morning they had disappeared, and while their attorneys are still insisting that they will return for their arraignments, it appears that they may have already missed at least one deadline, hence the reward being offered by the US Marshals office.
Now there's a report that the parent's attorney had advised them to leave town but he says that they will return if and when they are formally charged. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
