...it's a federal crime. California not prosecuting is irrelevant. This is a job for the feds. Whether or not Biden and his minion Merick Garland will consider this sufficient cause to pull agents off the shenanigans of the misdemeanor mafia on the Jan 6 investigation or not we don't know.
...another thing I am concerned about is whether or not the theft or 40 dangerous weapons by known thugs is considered as critical to the admin as a law abiding citizen trying to buy a firearm to protect his family which we are led to believe is the root of all violence.
