An update on the legal status of the alleged shooter at that Oxford high school in Michigan, and that of his parents.
It seems that the parents have hired a team of highly respected (and expensive) lawyers to defend them in their potential trial for involuntary manslaughter. However, they've notified the court that they are not in a position to hire a lawyer to represent their son. The court has therefore appointed, at taxpayer's expense, an attorney who will represent him.
