I was in Delray beach last night, a bustling town and main st the last few years, people packed in restaurants, on the street, not one mask in sight. A sign of reason seemed to be the fact that most places were not packed indoors, but still people in there and hanging out at the bar inside. But then again, in Florida, you are either vaccinated or had covid at least once, and they feel like winging it. There is few left, I guess, who have not had either or both which is why the cases have come down although they are going up again, but still under 5% positivity for the whole area all the way from Palm Beach to Miami. Thanksgiving took it up over 40% to around 2400 cases for the whole state on a 7 day average, and Christmas will add another spike. The people don’t give a shit, though.
