I sat up about three hours the other night listening to some folks on NPR talk about bit coin and crypto currency and afterwards I decided that I didn't know anything at all about the subject. I also decided that they didn't know anything about it either. Kinda like playing poker with invisible cards.

It goes without saying, if you don't believe in the product, you shouldn't touch crypto. I think crypto is here to stay and that its impact on the world will be far greater than it is today. But I have to admit, I'm not sure which currency. Could be bitcoin... could be ethereum... could be one that has yet to make a name for itself. There are over 7,000 cryptocurrencies in existence with new ones being created every day.

I actually think that Facebook's as-yet-unreleased cryptocurrency could be dominant. But right now, things look really good for bitcoin and ethereum for the mid-term.
