Officer Fanone is joining CNN
WaPo's Peter Hermann broke the news that DC police officer Michael Fanone, who has been outspoken about 1/6 violence and the coverup that followed, is leaving the force and joining CNN as an on-air contributor. CNN confirmed that he will start in January.
Fanone's brave TV appearances this year "did not sit well with some fellow officers, who, according to Fanone, derided him in private Internet chat forums for police," Hermann reported. What a shame...
