if the moon's orbit and distance from earth has changed and is changing even incrementally that gravitational pull change will have an effect on the climate, weather. Could well explain why there seem to be more atmospheric disturbances than in previous decades and I would expect more shifting of jet stream patterns than had been in the past as well. Those gravitational forces which we cannot see but we do experience have impacts on the atmospheres and dare I say oceans as well?
