Re: “...my most-viewed video with well over 43,000 views and 1,800 likes..”That was exactly one month ago. Today, the numbers on this almost 4-year-old video are 50,587 views and 2,100 "likes." It continues to gain steam though I've never isolated why it stands out from the dozens of other forgotten and mostly overlooked youtube videos I've posted.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

I've posted about this before but the numbers keep growing, so here's an update. In February 2018, I attended a High School talent show in Virginia. One of the videos I posted from it was of a "young lady" (who actually won the show) reciting a poem called "Explaining My Depression to my Mother." It has since become far and away my most-viewed video with well over 43,000 views and 1,800 likes despite the brief intro I wrote causing a bit of a sh*tstorm among legions of self-absorbed, tear-soaked female fans. It's quickly gaining steam. When I mentioned it here on July 13th of this year... four months ago... I said that it had over 20,000 views and 850 likes. The thing seems to be going viral. Comments are approximately equally divided between those that praise the reciter for her courage and energy and those that damn me to eternal hell for daring to say "I deduct points when poems don't rhyme." LOL. One even ripped on me for having the audacity to call her a young lady. I read the comments every now and then as a pick-me-up. They make me smile. My take is that folks really need to develop a sense of humor. No wonder there's so much depression.
