warm, rainy, overcast. Typical southern Ohio valley winter weather. I think the Ohio River Valley brings a lot of southern warmth up from the gulf states and influences our weather pattern.

Just 25 miles north it is totally different. I luike the MAson Dixon Line.. It gives us moderate climate in winter and my heat pump keeps us plenty warm at very economical cost..

Ya kinda need to watch out for that falling stuff. That's how bones get broken and cracked. The older ya get the easier they crack and break.

Miz micro and I both have Type A Flu. Glad we got our regular flu booster shots earlier this year. Otherwise this crap would really be bad. Its bad enough but could be worse... I need to venture out to the Pharmacy to fetch the Tamiflu the doc ordered to help with symptoms..
I can hardly wait.....

wife is worse than me but she is an acute hypoglycemic with very very low blood sugar... So everything is harder on her and her system...

Anyway, off to go fetch the tamiflu stuff and see if it will relieve some symptoms.

Re: “How much SNOW have you seen there already?”
Not much. We had a couple of storms that dropped 4 or 5 inches, but I didn't even break out the snow blower - just shoveled it away by hand. The ground is covered... has been for the last two weeks... but only to a depth of about 2 inches. Grass is beginning to poke through.

At the moment, we're in a heat wave. The temps stayed above freezing last night, and we won't have any more cold until Sunday night. I just let the wood stove burn itself out. In this kind of weather, the stove would jack the house temperature well over 80° and I don't want that.

What little snow we've got on the ground could melt off by Sunday! The long-term forecast doesn't show any more coming until the 9th... but those forecasts are always wrong. Big storms don't usually give more than 3 days advance notice and forecasts change day to day. In fact, it's freezing rain that I find more concerning. I hate it when that stuff gets on the vehicles or makes walking to the mailbox treacherous. I haven't yet forgotten the 2018/19 winter when everything was covered with ice, seemingly for months. I remember falling SIX TIMES while trying to clear a little snow one day. Fortunately, that was an unusual winter. We haven't had anything like it since.

And how is it in your neck of the woods?
