I've never watched Doctor Who, but many of my friends from college did. Some were even volunteers at the local PBS station, hosting the Doctor Who shows it aired and chairing some of the Beg-a-thons.

Part of the reason Doctor Who never interested me is that I was late to the party. It was almost a club and I wasn't in it... though I guess I could have been if I'd showed any interest. I knew many of its members. But the show looked dorky (and still does) It's not exactly QUALITY science fiction, reminding me more of Lost In Space than Star Trek. So, when I recently saw that PlutoTV has a Doctor Who channel, I didn't give it a look. Tonight, though, I see that it's running episode 1... followed by episode 2, and so forth. In other words, this is a chance to watch the series from the start. Maybe I'll like it; Who knows? LOL...

This is a long way of telling you about PlutoTV, a *free* TV site that is 100% legit. It works great with my Amazon Fire TV Stick, but you don't need that. Just go to PlutoTV.com and enjoy a TON of free entertainment. I almost guarantee you that it has far more channels than you're getting on your paid cable subscription (unless, like micro, you don't pay for cable.) The only catch is that a lot of the shows are old.

For me, that's no big deal. I like the original Hawaii five-o, Mission Impossible, Cops, Iron Chef, Johnny Carson, Carol Burnett Show, etc. just fine. Give it a look. You might find some things you like. You're bound to, really. There are hundreds of stations.

Doctor Who is channel 532. 24-7, Doctor Who.
