I agree with Nadal. Djokovic made his own decisions and there are consequences. He will probably miss out on a Grand Slam win. On the other hand, Nadal and hundreds of millions of others are going to learn one day that the mRNA vaccines damaged their immune systems leading to higher incidences of death from other causes including heart disease and cancer. Evidence for that is mounting, including studies showing that the vaccinated are catching Omicron at a far greater rate than the unvaccinated. The most likely reason for that is that the vaccinated aren't doing as good a job of fighting it off.

It will be a few years before the vaccinated stop feeling so smug about THEIR decision. Is it worth it to a young person to get vaccinated and have a few months of not worrying about Covid-19 at the cost of, perhaps, 30 years of life? I guess, for some, that it must be.
