I showed miz micro your post yesterday evening. She laughed like crazy. you have a new fan.. Thank you for your great sense of humor.. It is good to laugh.
I go for my pre-op Physical on Thursady next week and on Friday have the blood work drawn and covid test done by the Hospital lab which has a building only five miles from my home. I am getting nervous. Anxious as well. Knowing what is coming. I do hope the end result means I get my lower right leg back to walk again without all the off angle pain from walking it gets. Thehip does not let it align correctly under the knee so when I step it lands on an awkward angle and all those soft tissues and ligaments are highly inflamed.. From the knee down to the ankle and top of foot.
Funny thing is that the ortho foot doctor never picked up on the hip or considered it. He told me to get new pair of shoes and do some therapy. Guess he did not want to be bothered. It took the P.A. of the joint replacement doc to discover the Hip stuck in place and the arthritis holding it there. Needless to say I have a TON of respect for the young P.A. who seems to have more sense than the Piled higher and Deeper doc.
I'm pretty stupid but even I knew that something was casuing a skewing effect becuase ya could watch yer foot land when ya walked and it always kicks out to the right on its own. That is not natural so something caused it. Now we know.. Grrrr. Boneheads.
SO, YOU are having a knee replacement? WOW!
That is the next thing on my list. Same leg as the Hip.
Its great being eaten from the insode by the osteo arthritis isn't it? The invisible destroyer of joints.
The knee is what I was seeing my joint ortho for and had the gel shots injected earlier this year. They helped for a few months. But that was all.
I'll be praying for you ribit. I will be home and y recovery room is set up complete with a new pewered recliner that was tested by me for sleeping positions before purchase. My t.v. is in front of the recliner about 8 feet away . The kitchen is the next room over. So its close by so miz micro don't have to go too far to bring me snacks.. I assembled a new walker yesterday with wheels on front and glides on rear for the carpeted floors in the house. I also assembled the new Shower SEAT for me to use when I am able to do so. THOSE things are done and ready.
I like the new streaming apps I have added. FUBO t.v. gives us tons of things to look at but has extensive sports channels also. So uit is very good for us. I added FRNDLYTV as well so miz micro can get a couple more things she enjoys and it has the Histry Channel and the Military History channel as well So for the low price it was a no brainer. I am still at half of what cable company was wanting.
Am considering a new AX Wireless router for better signal strength. I have a good AC 1200 dual band wifi router that works well but on occasion we get the little small circles going around for a couple seconds on the t.v. sceen. I think the stronger Router will make that go away completely.
Time for me to go lay down. I am very tired and running out of steam fast..
Catch yoy guys later.
yer pal,
micro....
