De

they cracked open your rib cage like walnut shells. How in the world did that not hurt like crazy????

I am amazed at that. Really. Wowser. And then the surgeon repaired your heart and put in a new valve from an animal to boot. Just thinking about it makes me shiver... I must be getting too old for these things.

I am very interested in how Ribit makes out because my right knee was going to be replaced until we discovered the hip was far more needful and immediate need so after the hip and therapy and stuff is done I have a right knee replacement to look forward to. not....

Re: “De had a operation that would have scared me to death so I prolly should not get too nervous.. This is operation number 16 for me..”
If it was operation #16, I probably would have been scared to death too. As it was, it was operation #1 and I really didn't know what to expect. Actually, I remember bracing myself to be in agony for a month. Then it turned out to have NO agony at all and I was rather pleased.
